Pichai Nirand

          Pichai Nirand was born in 1936 in Bangkok and attended Silpakorn University. He has won major awards throughout his career, including the outstanding alumni award from Silpakorn University in 2000. Widely respected, Nirand exhibits throughout the world. He started out as an expressionist and surrealist artist and later emerged as a powerful painter of Buddhist themes.

1964 - 3rd Prize - Silver Medal (Painting) The 15th National Exhibition of Art
